ABOUT CMHQA
The mission of the Center for Mental Health Quality
and Accountability (CMHQA) is to promote quality
and accountability in state mental health systems. Over
the past three years, CMHQA has been managing, developing,
and transferring knowledge related to evidence-based
practices (EBPs) and their implementation. CMHQA
collaborates with consumers; researchers; and federal,
state and local governments to create and share innovative
strategies and address challenges.
Consumers and family members, State
Mental Health Authorities, providers, and researchers will
find this site helpful to better understand what an EBP is; EBPs for children,
adults, and older adults; implementation issues;
and federal and state EBP initiatives.
