ABOUT BHPMS

With over a decade of experience in performance measurement, the NRI's Behavioral Healthcare Performance Measurement System (BHPMS) provides over 200 facilities in 49 states and territories comprehensive quality improvement and analytic services. The BHPMS is included on the Joint Commission's list of acceptable vendors for the ORYX® initiative and HBIPS core measure set requirements.

Additionally,

  • As a key member in the development of the HBIPS core measure set, we provide our members with up to date Joint Commission information.
  • Each facility in our system receives one-on-one, personal technical assistance from their assigned liaison.
  • All of our members are provided with the opportunity to confidentially benchmark their facility against national data.
  • The BPHMS offers monthly, real-time, web-based reports in support of your facility's quality improvement initiatives.
  • Our unique fee structure allows us to offer all of our current services for one low, annual flat fee of $6,950.00.
Feel free to review our Pamphlet for more information.

The BHPMS offers an array of non-core measures and tools. One of our most popular tools is the Inpatient Consumer Survey (ICS):

The BHPMS has developed an Inpatient Consumer Survey tool to enable persons served in psychiatric facilities to provide feedback on services, interactions, and personal outcomes. The 28-item survey includes 5 domains: outcomes, dignity, rights, participation in treatment, and environment.
