Services available

The ICS instrument is free for psychiatric hospitals to use for their own internal QI practices. Hospitals that are interested in external benchmarking turn to NRI as the only source for national benchmark data for the ICS.

For a low annual fee of $1,250 facilities receive:

• Live interactive web-based orientation during the ICS measure set enrollment process


• Access to a network of other psychiatric hospitals with a broad range of services


• Personal and direct, one-on-one, technical support


• Live, monthly educational webinars


• Meets HIPAA requirements for providing secure and confidential services


• Spanish and English versions of the survey instrument


• Bilingual, Spanish-English, personal support and resources


• Access to comprehensive reports as NRI compiles nationwide data from psychiatric hospitals using the ICS. Contracted facilities receive comparison charts containing national averages by domain


• Access Database tool for data entry and storage


• Comprehensive toolkit including documents such as File layouts, Measure descriptions, Quality Improvement document, and much more
