Introducing SAMHSA’s National Training and Technical Assistance Center for Early Serious Mental Illness (ESMI TTA Center)

ESMI TTA CENTER National Training and Technical Assistance Center for Early Serious Mental Illness

The ESMI TTA Center is a new national training and technical assistance center developed by SAMHSA and Westat to address early serious mental illness (ESMI), including first episode psychosis (FEP) and clinical high risk for psychosis (CHR-P). The ESMI TA Center provides education, training, and technical assistance on evidence-based, evidence-informed, and promising practices related to the identification, assessment, and treatment of ESMI.

NRI and NASMHPD have been invited as collaborators with Westat. Other collaborators on this project include the OnTrackNY, the Psychosis-Risk and Early Psychosis Program Network (PEPPNET), and the National Council for Mental Wellbeing.
